Anti aging skin care

One of the most interesting topics on skin care is ‘anti aging skin care’. As one gets older, the natural defense of our skin (and in fact of the whole body) weakens. ‘Anti aging skin care’ is about protecting your skin from the negative effects of aging process. ‘Anti aging skin care’ helps in maintaining a young and fresh look for a longer period of time.

However, ‘anti aging skin care’ doesn’t end just here. Besides maintaining your looks (good looks), ‘anti aging skin care’ is also about retaining the resistance to disease. Anti aging skin care doesn’t mean adoption of any special skin care procedure but just following a normal procedure in the right earnest. Eating a lot of fruits, avoiding stress, drinking a lot of water and using natural therapies can delay the aging process.

Once the signs of aging start showing up, you should start using some additional measures in the form of anti aging skin care products. The market is full of anti aging skin care products. In fact there are so many anti aging skin care products that they will probably find you even before you find them. Also, with age, the skin undergoes significant change. So you will need to analyses your current skin care procedure to check if it still holds good i.e. if it is still suitable for your skin.

You should remember that aging is a natural process and there is nothing that can stop it from happening. All these anti aging skin measures can just help in delaying the aging process.

Any 3-Star Consultant or above having at least two direct networks, with a 7-Star Consultant in each network and at least 4 direct networks with a 6-Star Consultant in each network, and CBV of his/her total network reaches 400,000 BV or more advances to an 8-Star Consultant.

What to Know About Weight Loss Products

There are a lot of weight loss products that offer that fast weight loss results, however, are these really guaranteed?  Could these products live up to their assurance of a fit body?

In US, there is an estimated 50 million people who try to lose weigh, unfortunately, only 5 per cent are successful.  One thing's for sure, beware of fraudulent claims and extreme high cost because there is no magic to losing weight.

Samples of weight loss products in the market nowadays:

·       Diet Patch – this was already removed since 1990’s by FDA since they were proven ineffective.

·       Magnetic Diet Pills – allegedly flushes out fat, but not.

·       Guar Gum – causes internal obstruction.

·       Electrical Muscle Stimulators – no proven effect.

·       Eyeglasses that Suppress Appetite – These claims that the projected image on the retina decreases appetite.  No proven fact.

·       Weight loss earrings – through acupuncture, suppresses appetite.

There are also examples of weight loss products:

Diet drinks that are mixed with beverages or food are used as meal substitutes.  A  downside of this is that once a person stopped taking the drinks, they would eventually regain the lost weight after a short period of time due to feeling of emptiness in the stomach.  Another is diet supplements and medicines that also don’t work long-term.  Over-the-counter pills that compose of phenylpropanolamine hydrochloride may raise blood pressure and palpitation.  Ephedra on the other hand can cause serious side effects such as heart problems, seizure, stroke, and even death. E.g.:

§       Herbalife Nutritional Program – good as two meals, dieters may rely on shakes and follow artificial dieting methods and just don’t want food to work into their lives.

§       Mega-Thin 100 Formula – Its formula contains an anti-fat weapon, however, diet is not emphasized that’s why it’s concluded that it has an appetite suppressant.

§       Nestlé’s Sweet Success – recommended to take three times a day and it does not promote healthy eating habits.  Weight loss is difficult to maintain once intake is stopped.

§       Ultra Slim Fast – this plan requires regular exercise but does not teach good eating habits.

§       Diet pills with Ephedra and PPA – many of these have enclosed diet plans.  Slimming can come from the diet plan and not the pill intake and there are risks of adverse side effects.

§       Tiens Chitosan products – contains fibers which were taken from shellfish that may cause diarrhea, bloatedness, and gas. 

§       Chromium Supplements –claim that products will lower blood sugar, body fat and cholesterol but causes anemia and even memory loss.  Studies show only minimal or no beneficial effect at all.

§       Tiens Green Tea Extract Products – known as strong anti-oxidants that help lower cholesterol and triglycerides, and promote weight loss.

§       Algae Tablets Tiens Spirulina contains significant nutrients that can be an acceptable food when used as part of a varied diet.

§       St. John's Wort Supplement - Claims that it will suppress appetite and promote weight loss but it could lead to gastrointestinal discomfort, tiredness, sleeplessness, and arouse allergic reactions.

§       Glucomannan Products – claim that two capsules before each meal decrease food absorption.  Known as food thickeners but not yet proven safe or effective.  Weight loss will only happen if good diet plan is followed.

Even if you plan on using over-the-counter weight supplements or even participate in a weight loss activity, the verdict is that you still have to eat fewer calories than you burn to lose weight. When choosing a weight loss product or program, collect as much information as possible.

4-Star Consultant

This is the fourth rank of Independent Consultant.

 

Qualification Requirements:

 

Option 1: Any 3-Star Consultant having at least three direct networks, with a 3-Star Consultant in each network, and the CBV of his/her total network reaching 1500 BV or more advances to a 4- Star Consultant.

 

Option 2: Any 3-Star Consultant having at least two direct networks, with a 3-Star Consultant in each network, and the CBV of his/her total network reaches 3000 BV or more advances to a 4-Star.

 

Option 3: Any Consultant, his/her cumulative PBV reaching 1200 BV or more, advances to a 4-Star Consultant Maintenance Requirements:

 

If your PBV reaches or exceeds 100 BV or Auto-ship 50 BV, you will receive 24% of your DBV as a Direct Bonus as well as the corresponding Indirect Bonus. (Earn up to 19% on the 1BV of 2-Star consultant and up to 4% on the 1BV of 3-Star consultant)

Losing Weight the Healthy Way

Almost 108 million Americans were overweight or obese in 1999. Until now, obesity continues to be a serious problem and is predicted to reach epidemic levels by the year 2020.

One way to prevent this scenario is to make people aware of the risks of being overweight or obese.

Here are some diseases that you are putting yourself in risk of if you are carrying a lot of extra pounds:

1. heart disease

2. stroke

3. diabetes

4. cancer

5. arthritis

6. hypertension

Losing weight helps to prevent and control these diseases.

The quick weight loss methods which have spread like fire these days do not provide lasting results. More often than not, dieting methods which involve dietary drinks, foods and supplement or pills do not work. If they do, the results are just temporary.

It is better to rely on a healthy weight loss option which will provide lifetime results. You have to set realistic goals and not expect to lose a lot of pounds in a short span of time. 

Here are some tips on how you can lose those unwanted pounds the healthy way:

1.   Do not starve your self.

The key to a healthier way of losing weight is: Do not diet.

You may seem happy and feel that you are losing those unwanted flabs on your belly and thighs by skipping meals. But remember that this would not last long. Your body cannot tolerate having insufficient food to fuel the energy that you use up everyday.

If you get used to skipping one or two meals a day, your stored calories will be used up instead of the energy that should have been provided by your meals. So if you just eat one huge sandwich in one day, it will end up straight to your problem area (i.e. highs, buttocks, hips).

2.  Start your day right.

Mothers always say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Have a healthy meal in the morning to jump-start your metabolism.

Your food intake after you wake up will be used to burn fat all day long.

3.  Eat small, healthy meals frequently.

Five  small-serving snacks per day is better than three hearty meals. Eating more frequently, and in small servings, can prevent over-eating. This will also increase your metabolism and make calories burn faster.

4.  Decide on how much weight you want to lose.

Keep your goals realistic. In the long run, it is virtually impossible for you to lose 40 pounds in 2 weeks. Have a mindset that you want to eat healthy to stay healthy for the rest of your life.

Once you have decided on a weight loss plan or program, stick to it and make sure that you follow your own set of dieting rules. 

5.  Drink lots of water.

Your body needs sufficient water  to burn fat and keep your cells hydrated and healthy.

6.  Avoid too much sugar.

Plan your meals around lots of fruits and vegetables, some bread, rice or pasta for that carbo fix that you need, plus lean  meat and protein rich-foods. Sweets, sodas and pastries should be once-in-a-while indulgences only.

7.  Watch your fat intake.

Fat is not the culprit to being overweight. You need this to keep your weight at the proper level.

There is such a thing as healthy fats. Olive, peanuts and canola oil have them. Tuna, salmon and mackerel have omega-3 fats which is good for the heart. 

8.  Exercise.

Leave your car if  you are only going a few blocks from home, take the stairs instead of the elevator, jog, cycle or  skate. Use these activites and other home chores if you are too lazy to go to the gym and take exercise classes. Make sure that you do this regularly and you will not even notice that you are already shedding pounds with these mundane activities.

It does not matter how much weight you plan or need to lose. What is important is that you set realistic goals for yourself.

Go slow. If you have already lost 5 or 6 pounds, give yourself a break then try to lose the next 5 pounds.

Eat healthy, drink lots of water, have enough sleep and exercise. This will give you a higher chance of losing weight and improving your health, which would result to a new, healthier you.

2-Star Consultant

This is the second rank of Independent Consultant in the Tiens Compensation Plan.

 

Qualification Requirements:

 

1-Star Consultant that makes a one-time purchase of products from the company for 75 BV or more becomes a 2-Star Consultant from the month in which the qualification is achieved.

 

Maintenance Requirements:

 

As a 2-Star Consultant you will receive 5% of your DBV as a Direct Bonus.

 

1-Star Consultant:

This is the first rank of Independent Consultant in the Tiens Compensation Plan.

 

Qualification Requirements:

 

Any person who is introduced by a qualified Sponsor to Tiens Australia Pty Ltd, purchases a Tiens Business Kit and then becomes a Tiens Independent Consultant after authorization by the Company.

 

Maintenance Requirements:

 

As a 1-Star Consultant you can purchase Tiens products at wholesale price, earn retail profit and sponsor others into the Tiens organization.

 

TIENS COMPENSATION PLAN

PERSONAL GROUP BUSINESS VOLUME (PGBV):

 

The total of your personal organizations sales volume used for calculation of bonuses at the Generation Bonus level of the plan. As an 8-Star Consultant, the PGBV is calculated by combining your personal sales (PBV) with the sales volume created by all Downline members below the 8-Star rank and only between you and the next 1C who has reached the level of 8-Star Consultant.

 

PREFERRED CUSTOMER (PC):

 

A regular customer who is only interested in consuming the product and not in becoming an Independent Consultant. The PC buys at Wholesale Prices but does not participate in the Compensation Plan. They are, therefore, not entitled to receive any bonuses. The BV derived from the sale goes into their Sponsor’s Personal BV who receives a Direct Bonus if their ranking is 3-Star or above.

 

RETAIL PROFIT:

 

The margin between the price at which a Consultant purchases the products (Wholesale Price) and the price at which these products are sold (Retail Price).

 

SAME STATUS CONSULTANT (SSC):

 

A Consultant in your Downline with the same status as you.

 

SPONSOR:

A person who recruits another Independent Consultant into his/her organization and who is responsible to help that new person until they are trained well enough to work on their own. No money is ever paid for the act of recruiting or sponsoring an Independent Consultant.

 

TOTAL NETWORK BV (TNBV):

 

The total BV generated by a Consultant’s network in a particular month.

 

UPLINE: Person who is your sponsor, and their sponsor, and their sponsor, etc.

Glossary of Terms Used in TIENS Plan

AUTOSHIP: The Autoship plan provides for products to be automatically shipped and debited against a credit card in order to ensure that customers do not run out of product and that qualify cations for commissions are met.

BUSINESS VALUE (BV): This is the value the Company assigns to each product and is used to calculate the Consultants’ bonus and status. Here, 1BV = US$1

CONSULTANT (INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT OR 1C): Any legal resident who is introduced by a Sponsor to Tiens., purchases Tiens Business Kit, submits a completed Application to the Company and becomes a Tiens Independent Consultant after authorization by

the Company.

COMPENSATION PLAN: (Sometimes called the Marketing Plan) How Tiens pays its IC’s.

CUMULATIVE BV (CBV): The CBV consists of three components: The first is the Personal BV that does not exceed 300BV; the second is the cumulative Direct BV; the third is the cumulative Indirect BV.

DIRECT: Refers to an Independent Consultant that you have personally sponsored into the business and is on your first level of your down-line.

DIRECT BONUS: The bonus a Consultant receives on his/her DBV in a particular month.

DIRECT BV (DBV): The DBV consists of two components (both in a specific month): The first is the Personal BV of all the Direct Downlines of a Consultant that does not exceed 300BV; the second is Personal BV of that Consultant that exceeds 300BV.

DIRECT NETWORK: The Independent Consultant’s network generated through the sponsoring by any one of the Direct Downlines (the said network also includes this Direct Downline).

TIENS COMPENSATION PLAN

DOWNLINE: Those people directly sponsored by an Independent Consultant, plus the people that Independent Consultant sponsors (indirect), etc., down the number of levels indicated in the Compensation Plan is called the Downline.

GROUP BV (GBV): The difference between the total network BV of a Distributor generated in a particular month and the total network BV generated by his/her same and higher status Downline distributors in the same month.

HONOURED BONUS: The Company sets aside 5% of its global turnover, which is divided among Consultants who have Honoured Titles.

INDIRECT: See Downline... All those in your Downline but not directly sponsored by you.

INDIRECT BONUS: The bonus a Consultant receives on his, her IBV in a particular month.

INDIRECT BV (IBV): The IBV consists of two components (both in a specific month): The first is the Personal BV of all the Direct Down lines of a Consultant that exceeds 300BV; the second is the Personal BV of all the Indirect Downlines of that Consultant.

INTERNATIONAL INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT: An Independent Consultant with the Status of

International Independent Consultant which allows the 1C to sponsor other IC’s and customers in other countries besides their country of residence.

LEADERSHIP BONUS:

(Also known as Generation Bonus). This bonus is earned on the PGBV of a Consultant with the same Status level as you. At a qualified rank of 5-Star 1C or higher you will be eligible to earn a Leadership Bonus based on the entire Personal Group Bonus Volume of the first 1C in every Downline leg that is also qualified at your same title. As you personally advance in rank, you can become eligible for additional Leadership Bonuses.

TIENS COMPENSATION PLAN

LEG: Each personally sponsored Independent Consultant on your first level is part of your total Downline and is a separate “leg.” You and your entire organization (Downline) are one “leg” to your sponsor.

LEVEL: The people you personally sponsor are your first level. The ones they sponsor are your second level. The ones your second level sponsors are your third level, etc. However you can place new ICs you introduce at any level you choose within your Downline.

MARKETING PLAN: In MLM this is also known as the compensation plan. It is a specifically designed method of paying commissions for selling the company’s products or services and for receiving bonuses on the sales of those individuals that are directly and indirectly sponsored and

trained that are a part of your Downline. It is usually depicted in a graphic manner in a promotional brochure and in detail in the company Independent Consultant manual.

MLM: The standard abbreviation for Multi-Level Marketing MULTI-LEVEL MARKETING: A non-storefront type of distribution where a manufacturer, or its representative (an MLM Company), sells directly to the consumer through Independent Consultants rather than through conventional retail outlets. This is an industry that is growing at a rapid rate, with sales in Australia around two billion dollars. Independent Consultants multiply themselves directly and indirectly by sponsoring others into the business who create retail sales volume and are paid bonuses in depth accordingly on multiple levels.

NETWORK MARKETING: Another name for Multi Level Marketing.

ORGANIZATION: The combined total of Independent Consultants in your Downline.

PERSONAL BV (PBV): The total BV of the products purchased directly from the company by a Consultant with his/her own Tiens Identification Number in a particular month.

How Often Should People Consume Tiens Supplements?

Although a common one that is asked by many IC’s and patients alike ; it’s not an easy question to answer. TIENS health products embrace a 5000 year old system of medicine known as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

Traditional Chinese Medicine is an individualized medicine; therefore, no two patients are alike and each patient may respond differently to the dose and frequency of the supplement. One of the most important emphases of Chinese medicine is prevention. Specific to Immune System also known as Cordyceps in Canada, planning ahead and taking supplements accordingly, can drastically reduce the frequency and severity of catching a cold and or flu; however, taking Immune System every day for a year will not provide the same health benefits experience when taken only for a 2-4 week period. In general there are two types of supplements, short duration and long duration.

Short duration supplements like Immune System/ Cordyceps, are meant to modulate and enhance your own body’s individualized immune response. If taken too often, the body may get use to – adapt to the supplement and after awhile will not respond positively as compared to taking the supplement over a short period of time i.e 2-4 weeks.In addition, when taking short duration supplements for 2-4 weeks, allow for 1-2 weeks between each regimen. This allows your body to rest and rebalance itself before restarting. Combining Immune System/Cordyceps, with proper nutrition, fluid intake, good hygiene and sleep and you have an excellent prevention strategy towards colds and flu.

Long duration supplements like High absorption Calcium, are highly recommended to take every day when you are at risk to develop osteoporosis and are not able to get your daily calcium supplement from dairy products and other foods. This is where calcium supplements are a safe and potent way to get calcium long term.

The Cancer Prevention Diet






You may be able to imagine how miserable it is to die from Non- Small Cell Lung Cancer or Rhabdomyosarcoma. You have heard right, but there is good news.

Doctors have known for quite a few years that diet can help you avoid disease. In fact, they now think that about 30% of all cancer is associated with your diet. And it has also been proven that diet can help you stay healthy.

Nutrients in some food can decrease your chance of cancer. You can also improve your chances of not getting cancer by avoiding some foods. You might have to cut out the Football Crazy and Ribanac cheese.

The Power of Fruits and Vegetables

Fruits (like Cranberry and Indian almond and L�cuma (Pouteria lucuma; Sapotaceae) and Sweet Lemon (Citrus limetta)) and vegetables are known to help prevent many types of cancer including cancer of the mouth and stomach. Currently, it is
unknown if there are any specific nutrients in the fruits and
vegetables that provide protection. There have been experiments on some of the nutrients found in fruits and vegetables like beta-carotene. However, isolating these substances from the original source have not been found to prevent cancer. In fact, some by themselves are found to be harmful. So remember - the whole fruit is many times better than some supplement taken from that food.

Current recommendations are to eat at least one serving of a fruit or vegetable with each meal. They can be fresh, canned or dried. But, they should not be fried like chips.

Whole Grains Keep You Moving

on the cob are excellent sources of vitamins, minerals and fiber. These will definitely help prevent colon cancer. Although fiber is very important, just using a fiber supplement is not as effective because you don't get the other nutrients.

Foods to Avoid

And now another bit of bad news for some of you, alcohol is another culprit. The latest research shows that any alcohol can really bump up your chance of getting cancer. But, it is especially a big problem if you down more than two drinks a day
for men and one for women. Sorry ladies. Alcohol along with cigarettes contribute to cancer of the mouth, esophagus and larynx (your voice box). So, be sure you limit those Baijius and Parfait d'Amours.

The Four Rules of Diet

1. Most of your food should be directly from plants.

2. Limit your intake of high-fat foods, particularly from animal sources.

3. Get moving: Keep your weight in line. Ok. So this one is not directly diet related - except that you should limit your intake to the amount needed to keep your weight down.

4. Cut back on the alcohol, if you drink at all.

I know you have heard this thousands of times. Everyone says you need plenty of regular exercise. And if you are not getting much exercise, they are correct.

Two different cells determine the strength and shape of your bones. The osteoclasts lay down more bone and the osteoblasts absorb it. The activity of these cells is affected by electric currents. Exercise causes a small electric current to go along your bone. The osteoclasts are encouraged to build up bone as a result in the parts of the bone that has been stressed. The
osteoblasts are designed to absorb small amounts of bone that is not required.

Diet

The structural integrity of your bones comes from a crystalline structure called apatite. Apatite demands a lot of calcium and some phosphorus. That is why calcium is such an important part

Dairy products have lots of calcium and are a good source of protein as well. That is fortunate if you are a fan of exotic cheeses like Zdenka or Elaiki or Stracchino cheese. Ice cream, cream cheese, cottage cheese as well as milk all are great for calcium.

They provide plenty of calcium. However, don't use them for an antacid because calcium actually makes your stomach secrete more acid. And take them with your meals.
